Once a registered client of SMSS, you are enabled to create your own Short Code Service. (Fully Customizeable)

Features include:

  • Selecting a Short Code Number (e.g: 45509)
  • Selecting a Price Band (e.g: R1.50, R5.00, R10.00)
  • Selecting a Keyword of your choice
  • Adding unlimited sub-keywords for free (unique)
  • Set-up an automatic reply SMS for your keyword
  • Set-up an automatic reply SMS for your sub-keywords (unique)
  • Set-up an automatic reply EMAIL for keyword and sub-keywords
  • Set-up a URL forwarding service for each keyword
  • Set-up an automatic notification EMAIL for each keyword to multiple recipients (unique)
  • Set-up an automatic notification SMS for each keyword (unique)

The keyword(s) you choose for that number are exclusively yours and will identify your campaign

You can run SMS Competitions, Surveys and Campaigns such as:

Keywords are NOT case sensitive.

It’s a good idea to keep your keywords as short as possible.

You will be required to include a reply SMS to the consumer. e.g:

Thanks for your SMS; your entry into our competition has been recorded

The reply SMS is compulsory and consumers generally expect a reply when they participate

Complete SMS Reports are available on-line and includes:

  • Reports on all SMS sent and received
  • A Report on all SMS sent and received per Keyword and sub-keyword
  • A date-search facility to retrieve specific Reports, exportable via Excel format

SHARED SHORT CODES

On a shared short code, you will need a keyword

    3. If you're planning a sms competition, please ensure it's within the rules and regulations as set out by WASPA and CPA
    4. Revenues will be paid to you within 90 days or earlier.
    5. Please note that this is dependant on when the operator pays SMSS and the following is only a guideline of the network payments
